Stampede Breakfast Thanks, Prayer Walking, & Sermon Scripture
Just a reminder that Steve is taking some time off until August 11. In his absence, please contact one of the elders: Bob Shelton, Thom Gordon or Max Blazina.
THANK YOU
A heartfelt "Thanks!" to everyone who volunteered at the Tuscany Stampede Breakfast a couple of weeks ago. John Mains, Tuscany Club Program Coordinator, recently sent the following letter to Tapestry expressing his appreciation for your efforts:
Dear Steve, Please pass on our heartfelt thanks to all the folks from Tapestry Church who were kind enough to help with our Community Stampede Breakfast on July 11. It was a very successful event with a nice sunny morning and a great team of helpers and volunteers combining to serve and entertain about 1600 happy and hungry Tuscany residents. The good people from Tapestry Church did their usual stellar job in setting up, cooking and serving, and cleaning up after the event. Just wanted you all to know it's appreciated, if taken somewhat for granted after all these years. All the best to you and yours,John Mains
PRAYER WALKING
Our regular Friday night prayer times planned for the first and third Friday of each month will be modified for the summer. We'll meet at the Tuscany Club at 7:00 pm, divide into smaller groups and prayer walk around Tuscany for about an hour. Join us next Friday, August 7, then again on August 21.
AMENDED CONSTITUTION

SERMON SCRIPTURE
This Sunday, August 2 we'll be looking at Acts 18:1-17
Next Sunday, August 9, we'll be looking at Acts 18:18-28
GOD'S WORD IN YOU
Here's the memory verse for the next two weeks: But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
